Thank you so much for your reply. I really appreciate you taking the time to share your insights. I really like what you said with keeping a normal routine at the start of my classroom, and viewing my students as a person, not just a learner. Hi Nicole, I am a second year at Wartburg College right now, and I love your idea on bringing the real world into teaching science. I think it can be a powerful way to allow differentiated instruction. Asking questions is also another great way to get students to interact with each other and think actively!
