Basis of Life - Elementary Level Collection

As a preservice teacher, I think this collection is great because it covers a large amount of information from what cells are about to their function, to whether something is living or non living. All the articles are intertwined in a way and there is a variety of resources. I like that I could use a sci-pack, article, or webinar to learn this information to teach to my future students.

I loved that the first article I saw in your collection was about solutions (not just challenges) to teaching ELLs. It was very cool to see that as apart of the green living collection. I also loved that you incorporated articles about greening school and also incorporating it into art.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Review

I really enjoyed the variety of journal articles available to use. I think the demonstration article was very practical and I would use that article in the future to guide my classes. The 3 R's and Let's Talk Trash articles were also very informative. the collection is cohesive and unified in its purpose.
