5E/3D Learning Model

I enjoyed this article because it gave a great look at how to apply the 5E/3D Learning Model in your classroom. Sometimes it can be misunderstood how to apply this type of learning to a lesson, but this article does a great job modeling that. I also liked the use of a variety of tools within the lesson. Students need to become familiar with different science tools no matter what age they are and this article does a great job showing the use of different tools.

First Flight- Review

I enjoyed this article for many reasons. First, I like how it addresses phenomena that are happening all around us. This is something students can easily witness, so I appreciated the relevance of the phenomena to the students. Another thing I enjoyed is how this activity got students involved in the world around them. I like how it made students more aware of the things in nature that are taking place daily. It also engaged students more since the activity applied to their region rather than studying something that may never apply to them.

Hands-On Vocabulary

I enjoyed this article because it gave a new and engaging way to teach vocabulary. In my classroom, I am always looking for new ways to teach vocabulary and this article captured that perfectly. I am also a big fan of hands-on learning and this article shows a very feasible way to incorporate hands-on learning while teaching new vocabulary.
