Helfpul, but did not align well with my topic

I am currently a pre-service teacher in my junior year of college. I utilized this Interactive E-Book to assist me in gathering information for my Parts of Plants (Structure and Function) lesson plan, which was geared towards 2nd grade. This E-Book consisted of enriching content revolving around ecosystems, populations, biomes, etc. However, it did not align well with my lesson plan topic at all. While the structure of this E-Book would be extremely beneficial -- given the chapter quizzes, interactive pages, and cumulative final assessment -- it did not benefit me all too well when planning out my science lesson. This E-Book is certainly a great resource for anyone who wants to learn more about the previously mentioned topics (ecosystems, predator/prey relationships, populations, etc.), as it contains common student preconceptions, interactive images, comprehension checks, and more!
