I completely agree! Kahoot is a great way of engaging students in the classroom and gets to introduce technology without being too intrusive. It is also a fun way to have them test their knowledge to wrap up a lesson or unit, but it could also serve for us as teachers as a preassessment method and check what our students know about a specific topic before instruction starts.

Amazing!

Great activity! I'm working on a lesson plan about the universe for my students and this publication has definitely helped me learn and recall some knowledge to be able to start teaching. I loved the videos and resources and I'll show them to my students for sure.

Constructivist learning research

I loved the models shown in this article and the reinforced idea of students as active learners. I believe in the concept of constructivist learning, in which students build knowledge from themselves, thinking and interpreting information, where the student is somehow responsible and an active participant in his or her learning process in contrast to more traditional educational approaches that consider learning a passive exercise and that particular perspective of instruction is involved in the use of questioning, skills development, inquiry or cooperative learning.

Inspirational article to effectively include literacy in sciences teaching

Such a great article. I believe that educating children in the art of reading will make them become future adult readers, so it is important to make them feel like reading is beautiful, useful and that they can enjoy it. Engaging students into reading will make them believe that it is a powerful tool that they will forever use in their professional and personal careers. I want to transmit that to students in the classroom, get them engaged in reading and achieve deep comprehensive skills that help them learn sciences. I found this article really useful, especially its integrative perspective.
