I like to think of STEM as inquiry-based learning but with science, technology, engineering or math integration. There are specific standards that must be met, but there are so many resources that one can use. I absolutely love this idea. It is a great way of incorporating literature into science or vice versa. There is so much one can do with the combination of STEM and literature. I love the idea that it is fairy tales, that is generally geared towards girls and engineering, which is, unfortunately, geared towards boys. Like this, everyone is interested.
