This collection is a great resource for teaching students about extinction. While the collection focuses mostly on aquatic extinction, this would be a great for a lesson that looks at extinction around the world in different habitats. It included 7 resources that cover a variety of things from conservation to global warming and of course coral reefs. Each resource covered a different species rather than focuses on just one. Some of the species covered include but not limited to; polar bears, salmon, and sea turtles! Some of the resources even included activities to complete with your own students. Overall, this collection is very broad but still focuses on aquatic extinction and what can be done to try and save those in desperate need. This would be a great resource for teachers to look at when planning future lessons on this topic.
