I am currently student teaching in San Diego State University. I graduated from a Simpson University and received a bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies. I am excited to continue learning and preparing to become a devoted teacher.

1.Space Systems: Patterns and Cycles 1-ESS1-1. Use observations of the sun, moon, and stars to describe patterns that can be predicted. [ 1-ESS1-2. Make observations at different times of year to relate the amount of daylight to the time of year.

I think this is a forum. There are many great ideas to get involved in the community and have the parents involved as well. I see so much benefit from this. I will have to remember incorporating these ideas when planing science in my classroom. Thank you.

I had never thought of making those connections, but I think that is a great idea. I think that is an excellent way to bring moving around and entertainment for the students as they learn. Very neat! I plan use these ideas when I become a teacher.

These are so great. I believe that humor can be memorable and could help the students remember more than just taking notes. I have to hold on to all the sources listed above.
