For my Life Science collection, I decided to use the topic All About Whales! The first resource you will find is an informational article the students can read and learn about these fascinating creatures, next you will see a video that explains a little more in detail about humpback whales, next you will see a lesson plan based on being a whale researcher which allows the students to pretend that are the researcher and teach us what they have learned about whales, and lastly you will see my activity which includes the children creating an animal habitat for whales.

Physical Science

First we have an article that shows us many ways to make physical science fun for our kids, then I decided on an article that explains teaching physical science on a playground, I also decided on two videos for this collection one about solids,liquids, and gases and the other on electricity, and lastly is an article with a timeline of how this teacher taught about light and shadows to her class! I added a few extras because I couldn’t decide which ones to choose!
