I am a 5th grade science teacher in Texas. I am looking to see what people are using for their intervention resources to keep up with the ongoing data every week. Any ideas or other sources would be extremely helpful!
I am trying to find more resources so I can actually state the resource on the official RTI system my district uses.

Hey,
Have you thought about giving each group a different piece of small ice and have evaporation races? As they watch, they could draw what it looks like at a given time interval, and then let that lead into a discussion about the states of matter. You could also piggy back onto it and discuss thermal insulators and conductors as well.

I really love your lesson plan for this topic. It inspired me for my week long lessons for mixtures, solubility, and solutions! I added an extra station to the list of what you had. I added water with food coloring to represent the primary colors. I want them to see all sorts of changes and make cross curricular connections.
