What Forces this Motion?(by Glenda Ibanez) Review
I really enjoyed this collection as a whole. I liked the fact that it contains a variety of resources, including web seminars and podcasts as well as articles and science objects, and I really liked that it even addressed talking about force and motion with younger students. This collection really covers a lot of the content and material needed to talk about force and motion with kids, from Newton's Laws to force and motion in relation to position. The resources included in this collection provide a lot of great activities and practices that I would use in my own classroom, especially if I felt stuck or unsure about how to address the specific content. These resources really give a thorough description of the relationship between force and motion, and I believe that after looking through even just a few of them, any teacher would be ready and eager to teach the material to their class. The information in these resources can be modified by grade level and I think that's one of the most important qualities of good lessons and activities, so overall I would say this collection earned its five stars!
