A Unique Summer Science Camp
This book chapter shares a summer camp experience that integrates performing arts, experimentation, and exploration of science. The activities and experiences provided to the campers let them experience camp in a fun and relaxed way. As a special education teacher I focus on point of performance. From this point I move my students forward in their learning. This camp reminded me some students need a way to connect with science in a non-traditional way, to define their point of performance in science, before they can move forward with confidence and interest. This camp provided students with just such an experience. This camp seem replicable.
