Life Science
These are the resources that I have included for my life science collection! The first resource is a journal article that talks about connecting the movie Avatar to Ecosystems which is a topic learned under life science. This article discusses "The Dream Ecosystem" that is depicted in Avatar. Another resource I included was a video about Ocean Animals that explains some of the different features of aquatic animals. The next resource is podcast that helps explain how to keep students engaged when transitioning from astrobiology to zoology. The last resource is a lesson plan activity about matter cycles in food chains. The class activity is a play that the class can either perform in whole groups or small groups where they explain nutrients in food chains.

"Kinetic and Potential Energy" is an article that I found online that explains the differences between the two. "Physical Science-PS3-(2)" is an example lesson plan for 5th graders that teaches them how matter is made up of small particles. And lastly, there is a podcast that explains the structure and properties of matter.
