Hey everyone! My name is Brittany and I'm a junior Early Childhood Education major at Brenau University. In my free time you can find me hanging out with my friends and watching all 9 seasons of One Tree Hill over again. I'm so excited to be on this journey and hope to land a job as a first grade teacher one day.

I agree with Betty. My teacher told my class that science is a verb, it is always happening. She also said that anyone can be a scientist. Like Betty said, children experience science from birth and many times it sparks curiosity. It is all about how that curiosity is addressed. There are a ton of resources that can help introduce children to science in a fun way, but it is also the parents' jobs ...

Best SciPack

I have done 5 SciPacks and this has been my favorite. The information was in depth and interesting. It was a great review for me, but I also learned alot I did not know before! Such a fun topic and a great way to learn or review it.

Loved it!

I have always loved genetics so this SciPack caught my attention first thing. This SciPack was really informative and a great refresher for me. It is very helpful and I learned a lot! I know the students would enjoy it and it would present a fun challenge for them.

I have personally always been a fan of science notebooks as a student because it helped keep me organized and accountable. I have been on the fence whether or not to use it in my classroom though but this article helped me make my mind up! Science notebooks are a wonderful resource and I will definitely be using them in my classroom!
