A Great Teacher Resource for the Environment
This is incredibly useful for teachers to review content before teaching it at their grade level. The actual content is fairly advanced so I would not recommend the students themselves doing this, but this should definitely be used by the teachers to be informed on the topic before they teach it, especially a topic as important as environmental relationships and human impact on the world and it's resources. The content in this e-book tells how our past and current actions are affecting our future, which is incredibly important for future generations to know and be properly educated about. These kids are the future, so they need to know this so that they can help our environment when they grow up. My only suggestion would be to update some of the information, if possible. A lot of the data from this e-book only goes up to the early 2000s, and as the e-book itself states, environmental changes happen extremely quickly over time. Our world now is incredibly different than it was even as little as 20 years ago. This data is still very useful and I believe it is still important to include earlier studies and data, including information from the 1970's when people started becoming more interested in the environment, but since this data changes so rapidly, I feel that it is important to keep it as updated as possible. Overall, excellent resource and I would highly recommend it to any teacher, as it can be applied in multiple different ways in any grade level.
