Born and raised in Maryland. I LOVE to travel. I have been to eight countries, so far. I also love the beach, hanging out with friends, reading, and yoga. This is my senior year at FIU, and I plan on teaching English abroad (Europe) when I have graduated. In five years or so, I hope to have my day care center in California, for my major is Early Childhood Development :)

In the school where I am doing my field experience, my teacher makes sure to have small groups during the hands-on science experiments. Weather And Climate Collection
Tue, Nov 05, 2013 7:13 PM Weather and Climate
There were several good journal articles that would be good resources for teachers! The articles provided experiments as well as some information on weather and climate. I think the collection could benefit from additional resources besides journal articles. There was one web seminar, which was interesting, but there were no scipacks or science objects. Scipacks and science objects should also be included because they can help provide teachers with the pedagogical knowledge to teach about weather and climate. I don't know everything about weather and climate, so it would have come in handy for me to complete a science object that would increase my knowledge. By looking at this collection, I was able to learn exciting experiments to teach in regard to weather and gain more background knowledge on weather ! Good job, Bianca!
