My name is Ashley, and I am majoring in Early Childhood Education. I am currently a senior at FIU and I will begin my internship in Fall 2014. I hope to one day open my own daycare/ preschool. I also hope to become certified in sign language interpretation. I love reading, writing, spending time with my family and friends, and watching movies.

It provides a development tracker for 1-2-and 3 year olds. You can read where the child should be developmentally and plan accordingly for activities from there.

Elementary Resources Collection

The collection has great resources for inquiry learning. I loved the First Graders Can Do Science article. Many times teachers think that young students cannot process science skills and information. This article was great for showing how they can. I also appreciate the safety first article because safety is extremely important for every classroom.
