My experience with group:
At the beginning I let them choose their groups.
Do a few rotations, then I started assigning the groups. It works out okay once
I started choosing the groups. They would choose their leader and rotate that
position with the person who gathers the materials for the group. No one wanted
to work alone so they always remember T ogether E veryone A chieves M ore.

Our ELL teacher does a great job with gardening and getting the whole school involved. The upper grades started the planting and everyone has an opportunity to learn from the garden. Last year, my 2nd graders studied pollination and got to observe some of the bees in our garden. It

One school is doing a great job with Science and Engineering and includes girls from K-12.
They're on Facebook and Instagram and always sharing great discoveries or activities their
students are engaged in. It's an all girl school "Sacred Hearts Academy"
