A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

Students love to draw anyway. They just have that artistic bent. This article focuses in on using this bent to get students to put "Skin in the game" by generating their own meaningful scientific illustrations/graphics. When students define vocabulary in their words, they create ownership. the same is true when student make their own meaning graphically.
