Menu of Options Review
A Menu of Options is a great read when wanting to know more about how to help your students work in their science notebooks. I like how the author went step by step on how she has her students work in their notebooks. I think that scaffolding is a great way to help students get used to how to properly write their entries for their notebook. Without scaffolding, we cannot expect all students to know what teachers expect from their entries. Notebooks are extremely important for science so that students can refer back to their previous entries. I think that this article was very useful in helping me to understand how to use this concept in my own classroom. I would definitely refer back to it in the future.
