I used this in a 2nd grade classroom and it went extremely well! The students love being able to have their own devices (iPads) and seeing themselves on the scoreboard if they answered the questions correctly. Useful vs. Not So Useful Energy
This SciPack would be a good resource for high school students. Based on the amount of text provided in this SciPack and the difficulty of the interactive activities, I don't think middle school or elementary students would be able to successfully complete these. This SciPack would be very beneficial after students learn a lot of the terminology used in it. Without that prior knowledge, I think this would be extremely confusing for them.

What is Food?
This SciPack would be a good activity for older students to do. It isn't necessarily engaging/fun and I don't think it would be very beneficial to middle school or elementary school students. It is very text heavy and has some complicated activities included throughout the SciPack. If they were to simplify this one, it may be very beneficial for all types of students.

STEM in Early Childhood

It provided different resources that support STEM not only for teachers, but also for parents. I do agree that we (ECE) need more training and PD to effectively implement STEM learning.
