What level are your students?
I have found resources that focus on pictures and diagrams to be very helpful. Are they expected to test in their own language? Or in English? what are their levels in English?

Difficult in what sense? I am teaching science online. I think it has to be supplemented with some hands-on labs as well, but it can certainly be successful.

The moon is very interesting, but the phases seem to be one of the more difficult concepts for students to understand. I think because it is abstract, and very spatial. Some students can see it, and some just have a hard time visualizing.
I don't spend a lot of time on the names of the phases, but the process/concept.
I usually have the most success with Styrofoam balls where one side is blacke...
