Oatmeal Bugs
Love the story about Emma's discovery in the oatmeal container in her cupboard. This is an excellent Engage activity that can be used when studying the life cycle of beetles. Through inquiry students can observe the life cycle of beetles and then make connections to Emma's discovery. Excellent opportunity for higher order thinking to take place in science.
