Good Resource for Lesson on Gravity
Hi Vanessa! You have a great basis for a well-planned lesson on gravity here. I like that you included the resources from the Learning Center in your collection, I've found that the NSTA subscription really pays for itself and using the resources in our collections is not a bad thing! Just a note though, when planning to teach gravity and other science subjects in general, especially the K-2 age group, consider adding to this collection some outside resources like The Magic School Bus episodes or transcripts, even the information gleaned from within the original books by Joanna Cole are great because it's all rooted in verifiable information, and what's more, kids love it. I recently used one of the books from the series to teach an intervention student of mine about stars formation and space, and the way it's written is accessible to students while remaining factual and informational, which is something I have seen to be a point of struggle with some lessons, like where's the line between dense and informational and helpfully entertaining and just plain entertainment. You've compiled a great starting point here!
