I am currently a senior at Purdue Calumet University majoring in Elementary Education with a dual license in Special Education. I am also double minoring in Food and Nutrition and Recreational Sports Management. I am set to graduate in Fall 2015. My goal in life is to be an Elementary Educator as well as work in a program or to create a program that promotes healthy eating and physical activity for young children.

I completely agree with you! Science is such an important subject that I feel it is overlooked. I just recently watched a video that interviewed Harvard college graduates on what causes the seasons to change. To my surprise, the majority of the students had a misconception about the topic.
