Hi my name is Maria Chivacuan, and I am extremely excited to be almost done with school. I am a student at the University of Texas at Tyler. This means I'm one step closer to my own classroom. I would love to teach somewhere between 2nd-4th grade, bilingual would be ideal , but a monolingual classroom would also be great. I want to be able to inspire students just like my HS algebra teacher did, going above, and beyond not only with me but also with all of her students. My father retired from medicine to teach 4th grade bilingual, and ever since I have dreamed of having my own classroom, and teach students learn the proper Spanish. Not only that, but also to mould them into what not only my father, but a couple of teachers mould me into who I am today. I am a Full time nanny, and also have to coaching jobs I coach at TK.Bishop Gorman, and at Tyler Aquatics Metroplex Center.
