In a few of my classes we look at different ways to assess students. Personally, I love the idea of project-based learning. Recently I read an article for a class discussing the use of NASA's 5E instructional model. This method begins with engaging students followed by exploring, explaining, extending, and evaluating. I believe this could be a great model to use within the classroom, especially STEAM. Has anyone used this model themselves or something similar? What was successful and what was not successful?
