Hi everyone! As a future teacher, I would like to get the students actively involved in the subject of science from the beginning to the end of the allotted time. What are some attention grabbers that I can use so that they can get engaged with the subject for example if we are learning about parts of a plant how can I get the students excited to dive into that subject?

Hello Jennifer, I remember this one hands-on activity that lets me figure out the moon phases while still engaging in active learning, by only using 8 to 10 Oreos and sporks from the cafeteria. Taking the Oreos apart and using the filling on only one cookie and modeling the moon phases and scraping off what isn't needed on the cookie and the shape of the spork is good for getting the rig...
