I was never interested in gardening as a student, but as I prepared to become a teacher, my fascination grew. This article gives a good overview of the advantages of gardening for students. It offers excellent techniques to motivate kids, and I liked reading about their progress throughout the assignment.

I opted to reading this in order to prepare for my field placement's energy lesson. It has a lot of interesting ideas for teaching energy, which I loved. It provided me with valuable insight into how to introduce energy to students. I enjoy how it incorporates hands-on activities; I am a huge believer in designing lessons that students can truly participate in, so this aligned well with my own teaching preferences.

This resource was excellent reading because it demonstrated how outdoor classrooms and nature may benefit children and their learning capacities. Students learn to move by doing so. One thing that struck me as particularly interesting was how teachers encouraged students to take advantage of the natural world around them in order to obtain new experiences.
