Many science lessons are driven by a wondering and I have been able to start with my lesson presenting the wondering. But not explicitly more in a way that allows the student to come up with the wondering through my probing questions. Also students are drawn to new tools or just any tools. I have found that most students have the misconceptions about the difference in law and theory. Also there is this idea that only one can change but can not determine which could change. Students need to be taught that science is ever changing and is driven by creative, individualistic wonderings.

I am in my senior year of college also but am taking my science method class while student teaching in a 1st grade class also. I had to do a science lesson which at the start of the semester I was frazzled by. While expanding my knowledge in my methods class I become more enthused in the subject.
