I may have missed it, but besides drawings of observations and the like, how do you incorporate more art into the science classroom? I'm concerned about doing art just for the sake of doing art, and I don't know that I have that kind of time. Hi, Patricia. As for letting students keep their notebooks versus hanging on to them, I'm all for keeping the books in the classroom. This year I let my high schoolers take the notebooks out of the classroom, and the result is that nearly half can't find them anymore and have had to start a second, or even third, notebook. Did you ever come up with some good ideas for creative chemistry projects? I was thinking of doing an ethical debate where the students would have to look up a topic related to chemistry with an ethical theme.
