Formative Assessment Probes: Pushes and Pulls

Difficulties in Teaching About Forces
I really enjoyed reading this piece. I felt that it gave me great insight into the misconceptions that my students might have before I start teaching about push and pull. I also appreciated the ideas for how to assess students' prior knowledge. This will be really helpful in figuring out where to go next with lessons. I am really grateful to have this information before teaching about a topic that is difficult from many young students to understand. Thank you!
