I absolutely love the idea of a scavenger hunt of the science room on the first day of school. This will definitely peak the interest of the students and get them interested in science. I love it!

In my fourth grade classroom, I taught a science lesson on the Maglev train. It went great, however I struggled with the actual building of the Maglev model. I tried to find a cheap way to build the model but using tape and all that really hindered the students' trains from going down the track. Any ideas on how to fix this issue from those who have maybe taught this topic before?
