Dr. Steven Rogg’s professional contributions are at the convergence of systemic reform of STEM education, professional teacher education, curriculum and program development, collaborative learning research, and mixed-methods program evaluation. Prof. Rogg has taught advanced high school science and student research, undergraduate and graduate courses in science teacher education, curriculum/program evaluation, and research methods. He has conducted research on formal and informal learning environments, systemic reform, educational equity, curriculum alignment with national standards, and students’ experiences of STEM education. Prof. Rogg has led innovative program design, implementation, and evaluation at exceptional schools: Gwendolyn Brooks College Preparatory Academy (ranked top 8 in Illinois), the new Princeton International School of Mathematics and Science (PRISMS), and the nationally-ranked Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA); and University appointments.

Good for you! I've used Lesson Study as "Collaborative Lesson Research" (Takahashi & McDougal, 2016) with previous elementary science methods classes as a way to practice the profesional inquiry we preach.
