This article was a very useful read for someone like me, a student teacher teaching about constellations for the first time. Stellarium is something that was used a lot during this article and I like the use of this tool because it shows how the constellations look and move in the sky. This article has many ways to involve the class in whole group learning and thinking which is very helpful in coming up with ideas for my class! This article also elicits more in depth thinking from the students about the earth and how and when the constellations appear. I find many of the tips to be very useful in thinking about ways to teach my students about constellations.
