I really enjoyed reading this journal because it addressed the need to incorporate art in other school subjects. The project on circuits in this article allowed the students to not only learn about the scientific principle, it also allowed them to express themselves as people. I enjoyed learning about STEAM and hope to see more about schools that incorporate more cross-curriculum material with the arts. The idea of having a local artist come in to talk about these concepts was a really nice aspect of this lesson, as well!
