This article is about getting preschoolers to use scientific methods without them realizing it and preparing them for school. In this activity they were going to pretend to be rain and see how rain (or water) affects different objects and living things outside. They got to go outside and pick an object/thing and make their predicitions and then test it, then they went back inside and recorded their data and discussed it.
I liked that this article is written out in a 5E lesson plan because it is easier for readers to implement themselves without having to guess as to what to do. I also think that this activity would be great in a classroom even beyond preschool, because learning is all about being hands on to grasp the concept. I love this article and hope I get the chance to try it in my classroom one day!
