This article discusses the connection between field trips to the zoo and aquarium and the learning that takes place in the classroom. I really enjoyed this article because I believe it is extremely important that we educate our students about the world around them. They must understand how we effect the earth and the animals. This article provides a lesson on how students can help save a species that is going extinct. It provides differentiated instruction tips and classroom management tips. I really enjoyed that the article emphasized how important it is to have a conversation about the field trip and what is learned about the different species.
