This interactive e-book was an amazing resource for my second grade lesson on properties of matter. As a university student in their first field placement, finding quality resources that I know the class I'm placed in would enjoy has been a top priority of mine. I am so glad I found this e-book as it was the focal point of my science lesson that students learned a lot from and thoroughly enjoyed. The e-book revolves around the story of two students who are building a racetrack and figuring out which materials would work best for their project. There are interactive activities that students can engage in to give them a great visual representation of the materials' physical properties. The virtual activities were great ways for students to watch experiments with zero chance of error that you might experience from a physical model. OverallI, I feel that the engaging storyline and high quality content made it a perfect resource for the lesson. Students learned a lot and had fun which is what brings me the most joy as a teacher!

The concept of this interactive book is great. Unfortunately, it fall short of quality because the voice over is robotic and mispronounced several words. Wondering if I can do a voice over using my own voice for my ELLs. Would I be violating any rules of ownership since I just purchased it for my class?
