This web seminar was the first of two related to the NASA Symposium: Mapping the Moon: Simulating LOLA in the Classroom that took place at the NSTA National Conference on Science Education in Boston, Massachusetts. The presenters reviewed the concept of spatial resolution as it relates to topographic maps. With the help of the participants, a landing site was selected for a simulated mission to “Lunar Land.” The Web seminar was designed for educators of grades 4-12.
