I really love this idea of incorporating poetry into our science lessons. This lesson gives one specific example with a poem on Leonardo DaVinci. They use this idea of "take 5", meaning they use 5 steps to incorporate the poem. I think that this is a great idea. It is a great way to incorporate literacy standards in your science lesson. If you take this example, you can easily incorporate it into your own science lessons for any topic.
