In this lesson, students are introduced to the module challenge and begin to explore the concept of physics in motion through everyday play experiences. They make predictions about the motion of toys and participate in Physics in Motion Game Days, during which they test those predictions. They also make predictions about motion related to using playground equipment and test these predictions during a visit to a playground. We recommend reading Chapter 3, which is included in this book selection and provides a Module overview and summary.
