LabXchange logoAs the STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medicine) landscape rapidly evolves, so too do the opportunities and career pathways available to students. This interactive web seminar will examine the latest workforce trends in STEMM, highlighting emerging fields and the skills most in demand in the coming decade. Educators will learn how to integrate career exploration into their classrooms and foster students’ awareness of—and preparedness for—exciting STEMM opportunities through a lens of career-connected learning.

The web seminar will also introduce LabXchange’s free career exploration tool, CareerXplorer, which incorporates STEMM industry expertise to provide accurate insights. By showcasing current data, real-world examples, and actionable classroom strategies, this session will empower teachers to guide students towards future-ready careers and ignite their passion for innovation.

Participants will:

  • Gain insight into the latest workforce trends, emerging STEMM careers, and the skills most sought after by employers.
  • Discover effective strategies and resources for integrating STEMM career exploration in middle and high school
  • Acquire actionable tools and activities for helping students envision and prepare for future education and work in STEMM fields.

All individuals receive a certificate of participation and 100 NSTA activity points for attending the live seminar and completing the end-of-program survey. A certificate of participation is not awarded for watching the recorded version of the program.
