Archive: What the Research Says About…Emerging Technologies in Science Education, November 4, 2026

Discover how emerging technologies are transforming science teaching and learning. Join educators and researchers members of the Association for Science Teacher Education on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from 7:00 to 8:15 PM ET for an interactive webinar exploring how tools such as generative artificial intelligence (AI), computer-based simulations, and 3D printing can expand opportunities for inquiry, modeling, sensemaking, and authentic problem solving in PreK through grade 12 classrooms, teacher preparation programs, and professional learning.

Web Seminar participants will also examine practical strategies for integrating these technologies while addressing the opportunities and challenges of supporting meaningful and equitable science learning.

This program is delivered as a collaboration between the National Science Teaching Association (NSTA) and the Association for Science Teacher Education (ASTE).

All individuals receive a certificate of participation and 100 NSTA activity points for attending the live seminar and completing the end-of-program survey. A certificate of participation is not awarded for watching the recorded version of the program.

We invite you to register for upcoming web seminars at NSTA.
