Web Seminar

Join us on Thursday, March 4, 2027, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM ET, to learn about NASA science projects that are open to citizens.

NASA sponsors dozens of participatory science projects that rely on volunteers working together with scientists to discover what no one person can do alone. Free and open to anyone with access to an internet connected device, these projects invite people inside NASA science to contribute to planetary defense, investigate gamma ray bursts, map clouds on Mars, and more.

The presenter will share some of the research underway around our planet and deep in space, why she thinks these projects are so powerful for science learners of all ages, and inspire you with stories of volunteers who have made discoveries.

All individuals receive a certificate of participation and 100 NSTA activity points for attending the live seminar and completing the end-of-program survey. A certificate of participation is not awarded for watching the recorded version of the program.

We invite you to register for upcoming web seminars at NSTA.
