This chapter on force and motion has lots of useful information. Basically it is saying that experiencing something visually, like a picture or graph, is more effective than just reading about it. And then the chapter goes on to give lots of excellent examples using force and motion.

This one chapter is amazing in the information it provides to teachers on how to more effectively use visualizations to teach force and motion. The chapter contains a lesson plan, written in the 5e learning cycle model, examples of "see-scan-analyze" questions to ask when looking at visuals in relation to force and motion, and it even provides ideas on how to design foldables using the key vocabulary words. Finally, the chapter closes by encouraging the teacher, through the use of templates, to desgn their own list of "see-scan-analyze" questions on available visuals. I will be purchasing this book - based soley on the quality of this one chapter. Highly recommended for anyone teaching K-8 forces and motion.
