This Web Seminar, sponsored by the National Science Foundation, NASA and NOAA, took place on January 24, 2008, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Eastern Time. Presenting was Dr. Craig Tweedie, Assistant Professor at the University of Texas, El Paso, where he is jointly appointed in the Department of Biological Sciences and the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering Program. Dr. Tweedie gave an impressive presentation on the implications and consequences of global warming and climate change on living systems in the Arctic and Antarctica.
