This article presents advice to new teachers on how to develop good relationships with students through mutually understood procedures and expectations, as well as daily interactions with each student. When each student feels noticed and understands what they are to do, both teachers and students can feel successful. I appreciated the author also mentioning the need for teachers to "chose their battles" and to not micromanage - something new and old teachers sometimes need to be reminded of! Good article
