The Kitchen Sink

by: Terry Kwan and Juliana Texley

Sometimes you wonder how you’re going to get everything done. Each time you check off an item, two more appear. Those are the times to take stock of everything you’ve accomplished. Science safety can be like that. Just when you think you have everything under control, a new concern emerges. Take heart. While our domain of concern grows broader each year, so do the supports for good teaching. Most of the topics in this chapter apply not just to safety in science activities but also to safe teaching practices in general.
