The article is about how a student inquiry led to the expansion of a yearly demonstration into a broader inquiry question. The article describes the trial and error process students went through to come up with a process to determine the density of cans of pop to predict which would float. I do not understand why they did not find the density of the unopened can of pop by displacement and the method they chose introduces error but other than that, a fantastic view of what open inquiry can look like in a classroom
